Exciting Times

We have had so much interest in our Kickstarter campaign it’s wonderful to get to talk about my wonderful animals with so many enthusiastic people. I’m really looking forward to sharing all the news about our expansion with everyone.

Cocoa and Nellie boarded their chariot and raced off to meet the gorgeous young ram who will be their date for the next few weeks. I will miss their fuzzy little faces but they are close by and I can visit when I want to.

Tomorrow construction starts on the breeding pen here at Tower Ranch. A lovely Cormo ram, Niko, will be spending some quality time with all the rest of the girls, except Amanda and the young ewe lambs, who will enjoy Nelson’s company for the duration of Niko’s stay. Nelson is the sweetest wether and the girls really like him.

We have decided to cover the Rambouillets with a Merino ram, I can’t wait to see the fleece that comes from that pairing.

More pictures to come, thanks for checking us out.

I am a prolific spinner. I am interested in purchasing wool from your blanketed sheep. Let me know when your next shearing is coming up and I hope to buy a few fleeces. You can contact me and friend me on Facebook. I have trouble easily getting into my gmail on my cell phone. I hopw to have bragging rights and blab about my yarn and whatever I make out of it on FB and Ravelry. Thank you!

    1. Thanks Sheila, we shear around the first week of April so I will add you to the list.
