It is with heavy hearts we share that Al has crossed over the rainbow bridge. It was unexpected and uneventful. He was in the yard with his sheep enjoying a warm summer day and when we called him for dinner he didn’t wake up.

While we are glad his passing was peaceful we are also utterly devastated about the loss. There will never be a dog with such patience and willingness to work as a team. He was an excellent teacher and guardian and taught his pups and grand pups how to make work look easy.

Rest well dear friend. May you get to chase all the dragonflies and hug all the chickens.
