Pasture raised lamb grown right here in Palmer, Alaska using locally grown hay and grains. We support our local farmers by buying Alaska Grown hay and grain rather than getting feeds that are brought up from the lower 48. We also feed spent grains from the local breweries, a centuries old feed method that still works, and it keeps all those spent grains from taking up space in the landfill. By keeping things local we support our local economy.
Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food. These lambs are born and raised on our ranch, with no added growth hormones or antibiotics. We love and care for them in the same manner we do the other sheep that will be here forever. We like to think we give our sheep the best life possible because a healthy happy sheep will provide better wool, better meat, and it’s just plain better for the animal.
