People ask me how I can willingly get up first thing in the morning and go OUTSIDE in the SNOW every day. So today I waited until it was light out to show you what it’s like to say good morning to sheepies. How can you not love these peaceful – friendly faces.

The dogs take the opportunity to play while people are in the pasture knowing that we are keeping an eye on things for a few minutes. The sheep have learned to trust the dogs so the play fighting doesn’t bother them in the least.

For those keeping track, the two babies need names, Woolly Nelson has the green coat, Cocoa is the dark brown ewe, Nellie is the big white one, and Amanda is the hippy chic with the long curls that look like dreadlocks.
