Or maybe I’m just lucky.
Recently one of our local fiber community matriarchs posted that she had 10 fleeces dyed, all but the EK fleece as it is special and needs to be treated with the utmost care.
I had no idea this breeders fleeces are so highly prized, and I was very proud to say I have some of her flock.
When I saw 68’s fleece I was excited, and I’m so glad to see my instincts are spot on!
I want to grow sheep that give the local fiber artists inspiration to create beautiful things. That’s my part in the community, I grow amazing sheep and then they get to make beautiful treasures. Or, at least, that’s the plan. Nothing is as satisfying to me as seeing a plan come together.
65 has some greatness going on too!
I can’t wait to see what comes off of these girls in the spring!
